“Mhari is very calm and kind. I know it has helped a lot of people in our school. It really helps my friends realise stress so that they aren’t taking it out on me….the environment is very calm and you feel like you could say anything.”

“He loves coming because he doesn’t have to worry about being himself and being judged. I really notice a difference in him, he is much calmer at home and has strategies now to help when he feels overwhelmed.”

“I really enjoyed the tapping and self touch; I live alone and am happy in my own company but as a hugger I miss physical contact with friends. I could feel the circulation being stimulated and a warmth under my skin; a real self-hug!”

“This was the best yoga class I’ve ever attended for my particular back issues. It integrated Qi Gong and some embodied movement as well and I liked the way this brought in a variety of movement. There was a gentle flow to the class which worked really well for my body as it meant we weren’t spending too long in any one pose. I loved the emphasis on breathwork and how it enabled me to release stress throughout the class. Mhari’s way of teaching was both calming and supportive and I left feeling relaxed and revitalised.”

“I recently had the pleasure of completing the ‘Working Creatively with Children and Young People’ training with Mhari Baxter, hosted by Greenwood Events. The training reconnected me with what I value most – supporting young people in meaningful and creative ways.

The techniques and insights I gained will enrich my work with ARGYLL AND BUTE RAPE CRISIS and will be invaluable as I continue my journey as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

Thank you to Mhari and Greenwood for such a fantastic day of training! ”

“Mhari is a very qualified professional with an amazing sensitivity that is so visible when she works with young people and children. My daughter immediately connects with her and is very enthusiastic to attend Mhari’s workshops and classes! I highly recommend her especially for shy and sensitive children (and also for their parents!).”

My five-year-old daughter was affected by an event that occurred during her nursery years. We had sought assistance from the Health Visitor and NHS however they could not provide an effective support solution. Through the Elgin Counselling Centre, Mhari Baxter was recommended as appropriately qualified professional to assist. Mhari worked with our daughter over 14 sessions and whilst there were emotional highs and lows, Mhari was exceptional and managed to unblock the barriers our daughter faced with her overcoming her fears. Mhari was kind, considerate, professional and created a safe and trusted environment for our daughter. I could not recommend Mhari highly enough – she has made such a difference to our daughter’s life, and it is wonderful to have our little girl back. If there are any future hurdles, I would not hesitate to trust Mhari to assist.
